It all started with a simple question...
"Why is pet stuff so... ugly?"
We are pet parents. Our world revolves around them. But we're also homebodies, designers, and curators of our own personal space. We spent years saving for that perfect sofa, searching for the right rug, and painting swatches on the wall until we found the *perfect* neutral.
And then, we brought home our best friend.
We were faced with a choice: their comfort, or our aesthetic? We had to hide the neon-pink plastic "pet bed." We threw a ratty old towel over our new armchair. We were constantly frustrated by this clutter sitting in the middle of our living room.
A home is a sanctuary. A pet is family. We shouldn't have to sacrifice one for the other.

The KithPaw Journey
It was a Tuesday.
Red wine. A new cream-colored sofa. And a very excited (and muddy) Golden Retriever. You can guess the rest. We realized "just being careful" was no longer a strategy.
We looked everywhere.
We searched Amazon. We searched Chewy. We went to high-end boutiques. Everything was either ugly and functional, or beautiful and useless. "Waterproof" meant a loud, crunchy, plastic tarp.
"We'll just make it."
We sourced dozens of fabrics. We hunted for a waterproof liner that was *silent*. We created our first "Protector Throw," a blanket that looked and felt like a luxury throw but could handle a whole bottle of water.
We weren't the only ones.
We launched KithPaw ("Kith" for family, "Paw" for... well, you know) for the other "Aesthetic Pet Parents" who were tired of compromising. We're on a mission to bring harmony to your home.

The "waterproof" blankets we found felt (and sounded) like a plastic tarp. Ours is different. We use a premium, *silent* internal TPU membrane that stops spills and accidents without the crinkle.
Non-Toxic & Safe
From our BPA-free, food-grade silicone travel bowls to our non-toxic nylon chew toys, every material is obsessively vetted. If we wouldn't want it in our home, we won't sell it for yours.

Why These Colors?
You won't find any neon pink or bright blue here. Our core color palette—Midnight Blue, Olive Green, Terracotta, and Warm Cream—is intentionally chosen to complement modern home decor. They are colors found in nature and in high-end design, made to blend in beautifully, not stick out.
